The Dental/Medical Administrative Assistant Program provides students with the opportunity to develop skills in both the dental and medical administration fields, thus increasing their employment opportunities. The program is designed to provide students with both dental and medical administrative assistant skills, as well as the business, technology and communication expertise needed to work in a professional dental environment, private physician’s office, clinic, hospital or nursing home. Emphasis is placed on dental and medical terminology, dental and medical office procedures, charting, body systems and transcription.
Students must meet one (1) of the following admission requirements:
- High school graduation or
- GED or equivalent or
- Mature student – Detailed resume outlining experience and qualifications must be submitted.

Enrollment Fee: $100.00 (non-refundable)
Textbooks: $1750.00 (approximately)
Student Fee: $125.00
Student Protection Fee: $91.95 (1% of tuition)
STUDENT LOAN INFORMATION:
Provincial and Federal student loans are available to qualifying students. Atlantic Business College Scholarship
Each year Atlantic Business College provides $1000 tuition reduction scholarships to deserving students attending full-time programs. Students must be graduation from a participating New Brunswick High School in June and attending ABC in September. Scholarships are awarded through high school Guidance Departments.
